Where the green grass grows...

It's been pretty quiet around here lately. Well..... if you AREN'T counting the constant jabbering from a 2-year old and the regular day to day madness!

I've got babies graduating out of the Baby Portrait Plan which makes me sad, but a couple new ones to tide me over and the ones who are in the midst of their sessions.... It's so fun to see all the different ages!

My desk is filled with GARDENING books and notes about things that need accomplished this summer... we'll see how that goes! I'm starting to think of ways to get in my volunteer hours for being a Master Gardener this year. Shouldn't be too hard. I like helping people; I like to talk and I like to garden. SO! When you combine those 3 it doesn't take much effort. Right now I'm just wishing that I had my permanent garden space figured out, but instead we've been traveling around the yard trying to find the best place where there won't be future construction or traffic... Good soil... Easy watering... So far it's been kind of wash. I mentioned to my husband that the old farm house site would make an EXCELLENT area for a garden. We just need to move the house... Any takers?

I just long for the warm days. Sitting outside in the evening... Watching my garden grow. Sounds like I'm reminiscing, but really... this time of year I'm in a mental FUNK from not getting enough sunshine and it's like I can TASTE the summer coming! Busy, wonderful, warm, sunny summer! If you can't tell, I'm a complete summer child. Born in the middle of August when it's the hottest! I crave the smell of lawns being mowed and the vibrant green life all around me!

But enough about that! Here's one of my favorite images of the girls.... I can't wait to see this again either... Faith pulling Lilly in the wagon. For SOME weird reason or another, she likes to lie down in the wagon and stare at the sky. Funny. :)
