Sweet Baby Boy!

Let's face it... There haven't been that many baby boy's born lately amongst our little community of family and friends! And then THIS little gem comes along... Oh my goodness, what a dose of boy cuteness and cheek-squeezability all rolled into one! Here's a sneak peak at a couple from our session...

I'm still alive I swear!

Holy crap! It's been a week... Where has that time gone? Memorial Day is up and over with already and June is creeping up on us... Summer? Doesn't feel like it, does it? Especially with frost advisories in the area. I said, 'To Heck' with covering my little 'maters and peppers because well... If it's not meant to be! Then so be it!

Ok, back on a lighter note... I FINALLY got some pictures of Lilly in her pink John Deere outfit that her daddy bought her after she was born... Well, it suddenly fit her one day and now it's on the verge of being too small. Imagine that!

Here are some pictures of the little babe in her get-up, along with a little attitude in a couple of them. I do believe we could crown her 'Princess of Drool'...

Our little babe is growing up so fast! In one weeks time, she mastered sitting up on her own, cut two very sharp little teeth, figured out how to use her sippy cup and we got her clapping while watching American Idol... Thank God that's over with, huh?? :)

It's a crazy world we live in, but believe it or not... School is almost over... Summer is right around the corner... Nice weather will finally be upon us! Planning for your Senior Portraits should be getting higher on your priority list because before you know it, those 90+ days of summer madness will be over and then back to school again!

Here at studio 60... there are no cheesy backgrounds... No cheesy props... Heck, you don't even have to say cheese at all if you don't want to. What I am here for is to get you being you. Because well, isn't that the way you want your friends to remember you? Since when do you wear a suit coat to school? Or if you ALWAYS have a favorite hat with you, would anyone recognize you without it?? Now, let's be realistic for just one moment. I do try and get that one (somewhat) normal pose and a decent expression for the sake of all the mothers out there who haven't come around to having something a little different on their walls... But keep in mind, it's all about you and what you want. I shoot primarily on location, so whatever 'props' make you, YOU... should be there. Cars, friends, pets, sporting stuff, you name it.

Bellies & Babies Workshop

WELL!!! Made it back from Bloomington after attending the Bellies & Babies workshop with Sam Puc... and if you hadn't realized it by the HEADING... The seminar was about PREGNANCY and NEWBORN/BABY photography. So please do studio 60 a favor and call us, because we would LOVE to 'capture your moments'...

Very Inspirational... Very LIVELY and Very Wonderful... It's so good to go to workshops and get energized and excited about what we do for a living... Hearing someone else's story and realizing it's so similar to your own is really humbling... I had a wonderful time and enjoyed 30 hours by myself jamming to the tunes in the car, learning a little bit of good STUFFS, and realizing that my husband is indeed capable of taking care of the children for a while!!! :) haha.. I'm glad he's supportive of me so I can go out on a whim every now and again!

Anyway - TONS of great offers from vendors and a new, refreshing point of view. Can't wait until next year, she said she's coming back...

Off to a WORKSHOP....

Off to the Metropolis today for a great workshop... lots of inspiration... some shopping.... hmm.. can't get any better!!!
