Pack up the kids ma; we're goin' to the fair...

So we had to go the fair you see. So I said to myself... "Self! Bring your camera, it'll be something different for a change..." I don't admit it to many, but I LOVE THE FAIR! The (good) smells, the people, the lights and the music... I'm just a kid at heart and maybe there will come a day when Mom and Dad get to go without the kiddos... Watering Issues - er... Farming Woes...

We had some strange weather floating through our little neck of the woods last week. With this image all I can say is: This is NOT what your irrigation system should look like.... Hmmm...

Ivan and his family stopped by for some portraits of him all decked out in his tuxedo before church and his party which awaited them later... A tradition usually reserved for the ladies as a coming of age celebration, the fellows need to have a party too. Congratulations and Good Luck, Ivan.

Grass Clippings...

Well.... What a gorgeous weekend for a holiday, right? Hope you all had a great time. It was definitely productive around here! The yard got a makeover with weed whacking, a mow job, weeding, some new mulch on the flower beds and the beginnings of a new deck out our front door! Holy crap!

It was also nice to get away from the computer for a couple days to let my creative juices build back up before hitting it again for hours on end!
