Just in time for Father's Day... What a great little surprise for hubby! Not quite as sinfully delicious as a full out Sexy Moments {Boudoir} Session, but at least he could put these on his desk, or actually whip out the wallet, show a picture and say... THIS is my wife!!

Another Graduate!

It's always kinda sad when your baby turns one. They aren't really a baby anymore as they venture on to toddlerhood... Being more independent, starting to talk, or babble anyway... and then there is the case of forever ON THE MOVE. This little man is quick! and those big blue eyes just make you melt! Just Horsin' Around...

Ashley visited studio 60 for her Senior portraits and brought a friend along... ...this beautiful boy...
Ohhhhhhh how I wish I had more time, more money... more time.... oh. and a fence. :)

She's my kind of girl as we were traipsing across the yard for various scenery... She was up for anything... except when I asked her to sit on a roll of barbed wire... Yeah, I guess I can see that!

Children. Especially when they're your own...

I know that my kids hate it when I 'boss' them around while trying to take a few snaps of them. I know that I get the scowl and the eye rolling every time I say... 'Just ONE more!!!' I know no matter how hard I try to get them to do something I wouldn't subject a paying client to... I just need to chill out and get them being them. Point taken. Here's a few of Faith from yesterday while I was out in the wicked weird Thunderstorm-on-both-sides-of-us-but-clear-in-our-yard kind of light.

Faith : Do I have to sit there???
Me : Uhm. Yes. Yes, you do...
So half way across the yard she yells.... MOM! Take a picture of me like THIS!

There's nothing I love more than getting outside for photos... Give me long hair and a windy day, anytime!!

Here's a sneak of Kevin & Stephanie from yesterday... While editing... I really loved the ones where they finally started focusing on each other and 'forgetting' that I was there... Of course.. I told them to, but it was great!
I love the fact that not mowing leaves me with great textures to play with when roaming around my yard!!

Little Reminders...

...of what you can do with your images. This is my purpose. To help you decorate your home with portraits. You're not investing in the sessions and the images and the time to just buy a puny little 4x6 image! Let studio 60 help you create something wonderful.

Here is a very classic looking wall done with B&W imagery to pull it all together. With Black frames and white mats, this will look great in any home with any furnishings. HOWEVER!!! The exciting part is that there are many options so this is just a basic idea of the great things we can create!

Children.

My babies. Getting smarter, older, sassier and more beautiful every day. You all see pictures of the little one... well, because she's home with me every day. The elder is at school where she's kept thinking, learning and playing with her friends and as much as I know every kid likes summer vacation... I secretly think she misses school. I know I do, if only for the structure it brings to all our lives. Soon she'll be done and home and bored within 15 minutes of the first day... Typical! but hopefully there are lots more days like this...
